Finishing Touch Carving wooden butter stamps emerged as a popular folk art as early as the 17th century. Used as a means to decorate butter and often to identify the maker of the butter, these stamps depicted flora and fauna from the countryside surrounding the dairy farmer. Our wooden Butter Prints carry on this tradition, and offer you a decorative method to embellish butter, fondant, or cookies.
